PROJECT SCOPE
Our firm completed work in 2000 on a 5-year $360M infrastructure upgrade of the Route 9A, also known as the West Side Highway, that extends 5.5 miles from Battery Park City north to 59th Street. Starting with the development of lighting guidelines and identification of appropriate luminaire types for roadways, pedestrian crossings, medians, bikeways, our effort concluded with the coordination of contract documents for the first segment (Segment 4, extending from Clarkson to Horatio Streets).
