Aeropostale, a nationally known clothing retailer, has long prided itself for its innovative promotion of quality merchandise responsive to the aspirations of its young adult market. To reinforce Aeropostale as a destination shopping event, DGA was commissioned to develop a new prototypical store lighting program. Based on the use of energy efficient T5 fluorescent and high color rendering ceramic metal halide sources, the prototype was envisioned to serve as a design template for 40 new stores, as well as a guide to the renovation of its existing inventory of over 700 locations nationwide.
