Project Scope

DGA completed work in 2004 on a $395 million, 2.6 million sq.ft., seven building headquarters complex for the US Patent and Trademark Offices [USPTO] located in Alexandria, VA. DGA's scope of work included the development of the project's central architectural lighting solutions for ground level public concourse areas, elevator lobbies, toilets, and exterior arcades. A special area of interest was our development of a daylight -interactive lighting system strategy for the illumination of a 15-story (200 foot) atrium/lobby. This lobby serves as the main public space and hosts water features and large scale exhibits.
