Project Scope

Our firm completed work in 2003 on this 600,000 sq. ft., $92 million three-level structure located at the intersection of the New Jersey Transit (NJT) Main Line and the North East Corridor (NEC) lines in the Hackensack Meadowlands, Secaucus, New Jersey. The station includes approximately 1,200 feet of platforms for both train lines and a retail station concourse level. The station was being designed to permit the future development of a commercial office building and a hotel on top of the station. Our scope of work included the development of lighting solutions for both the Amtrak and NJT platforms, stairs, waiting areas, mezzanines, station concourse and public retail areas.
