Project Scope

Our firm completed designs in 2005 for the lighting of a crystal exhibit at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in northern Manhattan. With an architectural emphasis on the Gothic style, the Church serves as the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of New York and the seat of its Bishop.
This exhibit's development was conducted during a 3-year massive restoration effort that began in 2005, following a fire in 2001. Our efforts focused on the development of energy efficient, cost-conscious, lighting strategies that emphasize exquisite details of the diverse collection of crystals, yet are responsive to the church's historic character.
