Project Scope

In 2013, DGA began collaborations with an interdisciplinary team led by Davis Brody Bond and daSILVA Architects on planned renovations to the Adult Emergency Department at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Our scope of work includes the development of architectural lighting solutions for clinical spaces, waiting room, and exterior site lighting.  Our deliverables include new lighting layouts, calculation models, details, controls, and specifications that will become part of the project’s overall standards / basis of design.  In addition, we are developing computer-generated calculations for normal and emergency lighting systems, and providing COMCheck support using NYCECC as a baseline.  Project completion is anticipated for 2015-17.
