Project Scope

DGA prepared the Schematic Design documentation for this 370,000 square foot complex for the National Museum of the US Army (NMUSA). Located on a heavily-wooded site at Fort Belvoir in northern Virginia, the NMUSA site is highlights the relationship between the Army and the land.
Our scope included the development of innovative and energy-efficient lighting solutions for many interior and exterior features of the NMUSA complex, including exhibition halls, outdoor installations, atrium, courtyard, entry lobbies, multipurpose areas, seminar rooms, study/ educational facilities, gift shop, and cafe. The project has a goal of LEED Silver Certification.
