Project Scope

In 2012, DGA completed construction administration for a 7-year effort to restore and rehabilitate the historic landmark East 180th Street elevated rail station on NYC Transit’s White Plains Road line in the Bronx. The station building was originally constructed in 1927, and its architecture is Mediterranean/ Renaissance-style. DGA’s scope of work included the development of lighting solutions for exterior platforms, control area, passages, exterior station tunnels and exterior entry plaza all in accordance with the latest edition of the NYC Transit Station Planning and Design Guidelines.
