Project Scope

DGA recently completed Bridging Documents in connection with the renovation of this 410,000 sq.ft. Federal Courthouse and Office Building complex constructed in the early 1970s. With an ARRA-funded budget of $75 million, the primary impetus for the extensive rehabilitation of this facility was to improve energy efficiency, resulting in the complete redesign of all ceiling lighting systems including offices, judges' chambers, library, and 11 district courtrooms; all achieving LEED Silver status. Our scope of work included a comprehensive existing conditions report, programming analysis of light level requirements, and extensive lighting design services for all public areas within the Federal Office Building and US Courthouse complex.
