Charleston Courthouse

DGA completed work in 1998 on the new 320,000 Ft2, $63 million Charleston Courthouse Project. Our scope of work included the development of lighting design strategies for public areas, courtrooms, judges chambers, library, atrium rotunda and exterior site lighting utilizing the latest US Federal Court [GSA] and PBS Standards [ASHRAE] as a guideline. Our services on the project included programming analysis of light level requirements, design phase budgeting, along with specifications for lighting equipment, control systems and custom luminaire design.
